solid objects is a collaborative dance-drawing project co-created by choreographer Heather Kravas and visual artist Victoria Haven.

Conceived in 2018, as a proposal to challenge the traditional distinctions between visual and performing art, solid objects combines choreography and drawing as a series of durational, rigorous, site-specific, divine and domestic investigations to invent new methods of occupying and perceiving space.

solid objects has received generous support from a variety of institutions and residencies including Oxbow, Seattle (2018); On the Boards Seattle (2019 - 2022); Rauschenberg Residency, Captiva, FL (2019); Joe Goode Theater, San Francisco, CA (2018) and Walker Art Center, who commissioned and presented the world premiere of solid objects in Minneapolis, May 2022.
